International Review of Turkish Studies (IRTS)
International Review of Turkish Studies (IRTS) is a quarterly peer-reviewed academic journal published by the Institute for Turkish Studies, which is based in the Dutch city of Utrecht. IRTS is refereed by international scholars with years of experience in the field of Turkish Studies. IRTS can be found, among others, in the library of Institute for Turkish Studies, Leiden University, National Library of the Netherlands and many more academic institutions worldwide.
The Institute for Turkish Studies (‘Instituut voor Turkse Studies’ in Dutch; abbreviated as ITS) is a nonprofit research center that conducts independent scientific research concerning Turkey. The institute focuses on global developments, particularly the developments in Turkey and the Netherlands, which will be presented objectively. The institute aims to sketch a realistic picture of Turkey, Turks and other related research topics, based on scientific and academic research. In doing so; an adequate and fair picture of Turkey, Turks and other related topics in the field of scientific and academic research will be realized.
